OT Infrastructure Engineer

A 12-month OT Infrastructure Engineer opportunity working for a leading Utilities company Your new company An exciting new opportunity is available for an OT (Operational Technology) Network Engineer at leading Utilities company. This opportunity is an initial 12-month contract with excellent work benefits and arrangements. Your new role The role will be working on a 5-year program of work. Your role is responsible for building, maintaining, and administering the day-to-day operations of the company's OT networks infrastructure, including responsibility for change and run elements of the network environment What you'll need to succeed Direct, hands-on experience and strong working knowledge of engineering Operational Technology environments, including physical and virtualised IT infrastructure, software, OT Networks and wireless equipment, PLCs, and other ICS equipment to device level to deliver operational outcomes for critical infrastructure. Experience with business continuity requirements for control systems and SCADA, including incident response, documentation, manuals, disaster recovery, backup, and restore functionality Familiarity with operational technology systems used in industrial environments. Knowledge of DCS (Distributed Control Systems), PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), MLPS, and other industrial control systems. Experience in troubleshooting and triaging any problems that arise in the network covering LAN, WAN and Security (firewalls) elements and support disaster recovery operations and security remediation and hardening Experience in OT IEC 62443 standards is highly advantageous but not required Exerience with AWMS sofrware What you'll get in return Your hard work and dedication will be rewarded with an experience working with a leading company, an attractive package and an opportunity for a great career progression.
