About the Role (your why)
As the IT Service Continuity Manager, you will be responsible for managing the customers’ continuity requirements and IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) Services
In this role, you will ensure the delivery of value to our customers and internal stakeholders through high-quality customer delivery of ITSCM Services, with the goal of Disaster Recovery readiness aligned with the customers’ Service Continuity Plans
This role can be based in our Canberra, Melbourne or Sydney Office. We like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/ life balance. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best! Due to customer requirements to obtain AGSVA clearances, you must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible for this role (current AGSVA Baseline or NV1 Clearances will be highly regarded).
What you’ll do
At the moment, asan IT Service Continuity Manager, you will be focused on:
- Leading the Disaster Recovery team in assessing, developing, coordinating and communicating recovery environment requirements and plans
- Ensuring Disaster Recovery plans align with relevant legislation and organisational insurance requirements
- Identifying recovery requirements for new applications and systems. Managing implementation of recovery and availability techniques and technologies and reviewing periodically for ongoing validity
- Maintaining monthly status reporting, budgeting, strategic planning, and Disaster Recovery documentation
- Ensuring Disaster Recovery employees have the required skills to carry out their roles and are developed to meet ongoing staffing requirements
- Leading and representing the ITSCM and BCM service on behalf of Datacom to your customers
- Delivering high quality BCM and ITSCM services ensuring compliance with Datacoms relevant policies, processes, and procedures
- Ensuring all stakeholders adhere to the relevant processes in line with customer requirements and Best Practices
- Lead customer Business Continuity and ITSCM projects as required
