Currently looking to recruit a Project Accountant into their team, they offer an exceptional opportunity to work on exciting projects with respected industry professionals. Your new role As Project Accountant, you will be managing all aspects of assigned projects including the establishment of new projects in line with the company expectations, ensuring appropriate project-specific finance procedures are in place. Key responsibilities include: Monitoring project financial performance, including budgeting and forecasting. Development of pricing models to comply with company, panel, development feasibilities and tender requirements Maintaining reconciliation of contract values for all projects and calculating price variations Managing the development of sales forecasts and financial maintenance for management reporting Conducting variance analysis Providing advice and support on project financial matters Supporting Project Managers in the ongoing achievement of project finance outcomes Attend to (in collaboration with the Program Manager and Financial Controller) internal project financial governance What you'll need to succeed The suitable candidate will possess a relevant degree qualification in Accounting or Finance or an appropriate level of prior relevant experience in a similar role. Additionally, you will demonstrate an ability to prioritise and manage projects (including the delegation of work and subsequent review of work undertaken) and be driven to ensure completion with adherence to standards. A strong understanding of project accounting as demonstrated in a previous role is a requirement of this position.
