As a Business Development Manager at Eku Energy, you will play an instrumental role in driving the growth and development of the company's customer base. Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research and analysis
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including utility companies, developers, and government agencies
- Lead the development and execution of strategic business development plans
- Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess project feasibility and provide input on project development
- Track and report on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance the company's visibility and network
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies in the energy storage sector
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the energy industry
- Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong network and relationships within the energy industry, particularly with utility companies and developers
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively
- Strategic mindset and ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel as required
