The role comprises identifying, analysing and quantifying revenue streams for renewables, including but not limited to, merchant power prices, green certificates, hydrogen, Ancillary Services (FCAS), future revenue streams and portfolio benefits. In addition to that, challenges regarding curtailment and marginal loss factor (MLF) will be of key importance. The position requires a high affinity for numerical work and handling of large amount of data. You will be part of a highly dynamic, international and geographically diverse team which comes along with working remotely and demonstrating a pro-active and autonomous approach to work. Principal accountabilities Collect, prepare and analyse all relevant data needed as input for business models with special focus on power prices, imbalance costs, market value of renewables / captured prices, curtailments, MLFs and ancillary services and subsidy schemes. Understanding the changes in the regulatory framework and energy market designs in the corresponding countries and quantifying the effects of those changes on revenues with modelling and quantitative skills.  Manage and understand the long-term revenue streams for Renewables (incl. specifics of support schemes, hydrogen business cases, FCAS markets, Causer Pays Procedure, LGCs/REGOs, etc.).  Detailed understanding of the NEM power grid and ability to perform analysis covering MLF,DLF and grid curtailment.  Support in modelling and analysing the revenue streams for batteries. Supporting PPA negotiations, valuations and routes to market for renewable technologies. Support the Strategy and Regulation team to reflect current and future market and regulatory scenarios which are used to value commercials of assets. Support in defining optimal monetisation strategies and assisting the team in doing adequate risk analysis (e.g. value at risk, conditional value at risk, other risk measures). Ad hoc market analysis reports in case of market disruptions Essential knowledge and skills Degree in an analytical / numerical subject, preferably Engineering, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics and appropriate professional experience.  Substantial experience regarding the economics of renewable energies (e.g. MLF/DLF development, FCAS, Causer Pays Procedure and revenues from support mechanisms). Experience with fundamental energy market modelling. Experience in programming and/or optimization languages is an advantage, e.g. Python, Matlab, R or GAMS, database management (i.e. Access) and capability to develop, document and maintain models.  The ability to communicate clearly and in a customer-oriented way, specifically the ability to structure and present complex information adequately to a (senior) management-level audience. Strong interpersonal and presentational skills (expert user of PowerPoint) plus ability to deal with uncertainty linked to cross-cultural projects. Ability to work in different time zones. Highly proactive, enthusiastic about learning and pushing technical limits and finding new solutions. Multilingual is an advantage, specifically Korean and Japanese.
