Primary Details Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee To develop and promote injury management strategies that are focused on early injury recovery and durable return to work Service Manager Hybrid, permanent role based in Parramatta Office 12 weeks equal paid parental leave (incl. super) Insurance and corporate discounts from day 1 The opportunity It's an exciting time to be joining QBE's Managed Fund Claims (Worker's Compensation). As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing direction , coaching, and coordination for a team of Case Managers and specialists. You will provide advice to the team on claims management, legislation, and quality, whilst leading the team in achieving individual and team performance targets. Your new role Supervise the quality management of all claims with the team Plan, manage and review team performance and customer satisfaction Identify training needs, assist in facilitating appropriate support and provide coaching/mentoring Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, industry and ethical standards About you Extensive experience in a workers' compensation claims role or"similar"role" Broad knowledge of workers compensation laws and compliance obligations with a core focus on legislative knowledge and work capacity decisions Demonstrated experience in supporting Case Manager coaching, decision making and technical claims management. Excellent people, communication, written, and networking skills. A person-centred approach to customer service and people management.
