About The Role

Reporting to the Chief Product and Tech Officer, you will join a dynamic team partnering with Product and Technology (P&T), Sales & Marketing (S&M), Customer Success and Finance leaders. With regular exposure to the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a leading role in championing commercial decision making, providing analysis, insight and advice to drive business performance. You will also contribute to developing, implementing and maintaining financial reporting and risk management processes.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Commercial Analyst at ROLLER, you will be an integral part of our product team, specializing in product analytics. Your primary focus will be on extracting valuable insights from product data, conducting deep dives into user behavior, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize our product offerings. Key responsibilities include;

  • Data Analysis: Utilize your strong analytical skills to dissect product data, identify patterns, and extract meaningful insights to guide product development decisions.
  • User Behavior Analysis: Analyze user interactions, adoption rates, and customer journeys to understand how users engage with our products and identify areas for improvement.
  • Feature Impact Assessment: Assess the performance and impact of new product features and enhancements, providing recommendations for optimization.
  • Product Performance Metrics: Define and track key product performance metrics, such as user retention, conversion rates, and user satisfaction, to drive continuous improvement.
  • Investment Analysis: Evaluate the potential return on investment (ROI) for new product initiatives, helping prioritize development efforts and resource allocation.
  • Influence Strategy; Challenge the appropriateness of expenditure and improve group prioritization of key projects.
  • Payments Processing Analysis: Analyze payments processing data to optimize unit economics, enhance the user payment experience and mitigate risk.
  • Pricing; Assist with pricing analysis and project management.
  • Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor products, features, and market trends to help position our products competitively.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate data insights into actionable product improvements.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Create compelling reports and visualizations to communicate findings, trends, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical teams.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field. 
  • Expert analytical / modeling skills, with ability to analyze large quantities of complex information and summarize key takeouts 
  • Proven experience in product analytics or a similar role within a SaaS or tech-focused company.
  • Detail oriented with ability to prioritize tasks and meet timeframes while adjusting to changing priorities
  • Gets involved in discussions outside the 'numbers', active contributor to strategy
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and strong understanding of data visualization techniques and tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights effectively.
  • Passion for technology and a strong desire to contribute to product success.
