An exciting opportunity in our Brisbane office is available for an experienced, creative, and motivated Senior Façade Consultant to become part of the team. You will be collaborating with the best in the business and get the chance to work on the design of some of the most exciting projects in Australia and internationally.
The Inhabit Façade team is internationally distributed, and the team is location-independent, enabling access to projects across Australasia, Asia, US and Europe from any location. We uniquely work across all stages of the project lifecycle which means that we have a focus on real-world results rather than the hypothetical targets seen in other parts of the industry.
This role includes:
- Carrying out design engineering for façade and build-ability consultancy, including material knowledge and installation techniques
- Performing detailed engineering computations and structural façade analysis
- Providing façade design advice and reporting to clients on buildings projects
- Being accountable for all façade documentation including calculations, drawings and specifications
- Reviewing contractor submissions; shop drawings and calculations
- Project management and administration
- Assist and support in preparing tender submissions
- Attending inspections during construction, installation and fabrication as required
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients on projects and developing contacts within the façade industry
