Institutional Banking and Markets also has wholesale banking operations in London, Malta, New York, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and Shanghai See yourself in our team IB&M Finance supports the IB&M businesses in providing financial control, financial analysis, product control, regulatory accounting and related project implementation for finance related functions. IB&M Expense and Project Reporting team is responsible for all matters relating to operating expenses & projects, including management, control, forecasting and reporting. The team also provides strategic support through the management of project related expense drivers for the IB&M Leadership Team, IB&M CFO and the business. Key duties will include:Involvement in the management of the IB&M project portfolio as well as maintain strong financial controls over project spend booked to the Balance SheetSupport the Operating Expenses team with various monthly reporting deliverables to Group and other BU stakeholdersResponsible for business case review and approval process, including :Review business cases for satisfactory return and reasonableness of project assumptionsLiaise with key stakeholders to obtain timely approval of projectsDelivery of financial outcomes to support business case submissionsRegular reporting on the status of each project, including milestones, risks, issues, financial status, KPIs and realization of net benefitsBuild and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholdersManage delivery of high quality, business focused reporting We're interested in hearing from people who have Demonstrated commitment to customer service and delivering quality outcomesGood commercial acumen and demonstrates initiativeExperience with stakeholder managementStrong financial skillsExcellent verbal and written presentation skillsStrong eye for detail with ability to distil key messages and bring insightTertiary qualifications with CA, CPA, CFA or similar You Development In Financial Services we take a proactive approach to your career development.
