The Opportunity
Come and discover the opportunity to join our manufacturing business in our Supply Chain team as a Port Kembla Steelworks Fulfilment Officer. In this role, you will play a critical role to ensure that our products are being delivered to our customers in full and on time (DIFOT).
The Opportunity
Your primary focus will be to maximise our customer experience as you manage our inventory and influence the product flow through your interactions with our scheduling, logistics and customer service teams. You are passionate about creating smart solutions and enjoy working with cross-functions to drive better communication and streamline processes.
What Will You Do?
As someone who likes variety, you can juggle numerous priorities and stakeholder expectations to reach favourable outcomes for customers and our business. You will:
- manage inventory for best customer delivery outcomes whilst maximising BlueScope financial outcomes
- assist in prioritising customer orders
- collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide solutions and deliver product in line with customer business needs
- plan and coordinate the flow of product through the various stages of the finishing process
- offer improvements with our systems and processes, to strengthen capability for internal teams and customers

As an experienced professional with a background in customer service, supply chain, warehousing or logistics, you will be relied on to deliver our business needs and create smart solutions.
You will also bring:
- strong commitment to providing and fostering an exceptional customer experience
- superior attention to detail with the ability to resolve issues and identify solutions
- the ability to work with ambiguity and constant change in a fast-paced environment
- computer competency with the ability to learn new systems and proficiency in Microsoft Suite (ie Excel)
