The Role
We are currently seeking a Head Chef to join us for the 2024 season for each of the following locations:
Seven Spirit Bay Lodge
Murwangi Safari Camp
Our Head Chefs create amazing experiences by creating and delivering exceptional meals for our guests and staff members.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the daily running of all the kitchen requirements
- Meet and where possible exceed guest expectations
- Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques are established and monitored to meet Food Safety guidelines and are maintained at that level
- Work with the kitchen team and take corrective action where appropriate and within company guidelines if standards are not met
- Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained by all staff members to meet Health & Safety regulations and relative legislation
- Cultivate a positive work environment where learning and personal development are benchmarks by which quality improvement is driven
About You
- Minimum 3-5 years as a Head Chef
- Advanced culinary knowledge and extensive cooking experience
- Demonstrate excellent and respectful communication skills
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
- Able to cater for dietaries without compromising on taste
- Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
- Must hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
