What’s your day-to-day look like?

We have two bookkeeping teams at Retinue, tell us which one suits you!

Onboarding: You’ll work closely with our customer success team to onboard new small business clients' historical and outstanding bookkeeping into Xero, supporting the seamless transition of their bookkeeping over to our BAU team.

Business as Usual (BAU): You'll act as the primary point of contact for your allocated clients, and manage queries and bookkeeping tasks, supported by a small team of junior accountants and offshored bookkeeping staff.

What are we looking for:

  • Minimum two years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in a public practice or handling multiple clients
  • Proven ability to delegate and oversee work of junior staff, ensuring all deadlines are still met
  • Proficient in Xero and Xero Payroll, ideally experienced in transitioning clients between systems
  • Strong multitasking ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • An eagerness to speak with and build long lasting relationships with our clients, which includes regular phone and email communication
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
