Tasks and Responsibilities:
- You lead the commissioning activities of the boiler and combustion elements for HZI and ensure works are executed in accordance with contract requirements, and conform with the approved drawings and standards, project time and budget
- You supervise and check the commissioning works being performed by the contractor in respect of timescales, HSEQ and compliance with the approved drawings and standards
- You lead by example regarding HSEQ; actively encouraging and leading the HZI and contractor teams to implement and comply with project HSEQ requirements
- You are responsible for the safety and HSE performance of all personnel under your supervision, eliminating / mitigating hazards, stopping works where HSE instructions might be compromised
- You liaise and coordinate with all relevant stakeholders (project team members, commissioning manager, erection supervisors, HSE, commercial counterparts, engineering, sub-contractors, suppliers etc.)
- You ensure sub-contractors are co-ordinated with other site works, material and all other requirements are in place in order for them to efficiently perform required tasks.
- You complete required tests on site as required by the functional description of the plant and or equipment
- Interface with 3rd parties and external bodies as necessary
