We are actively recruiting Audit professionals at the Manager and Senior Manager level to join our Audit team in Sydney. Our Auditor opportunities are offered on a flexible full-time or part-time basis. You'll help our clients meet their reporting requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing meaningful insights into accounting and reporting matters. Your key responsibilities
Manage the audit engagement by defining audit strategy, in consultation with the Senior Manager / Partner, and executing it in compliance with our policies and protocols Effectively manage the Audit process with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters Lead and manage fieldwork on clients' sites including liaising with other departments to ensure the smooth delivery of the Audit process Expertise in accounting frameworks (IFRS) and in related financial reporting matters
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role, you must have:
Proven experience in delivering external audit and assurance engagements Experience leading the planning, execution and reporting on audits Proven track record with developing and maintaining client relationships Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to management SOX experience / US GAAP
Ideally, you'll also have:
At least 7 years' experience as an auditor A strong academic record, including a degree and progress towards/completion of a recognised accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA)
