Come and discover the opportunity to join our Metalcorp business in our Morwell team as the Branch Manager. Metalcorp is a leading rural Australian steel distributor, supplying brands for the land through our branches and stockists across Australia.
Our Morwell business makes a significant contribution to our Victorian state business plan and is key to the longer term strategy in realising growth in the rural and infrastructure sectors. With a number of sustainability projects being implemented in the region, the potential for market expansion is high and this role is an opportunity for you to strengthen your commercial management experience whilst you lead a successful, cross-functional team.

What Will You Do?
Leading a cross-functional team spanning sales, customer service and warehousing, you will:
- inspire and lead the delivery of the branch business plan and budget: continue to develop, implement, and oversee a commercially astute business plan, striving to exceed volume, margin and profit targets
- develop Metalcorp’s market share and build meaningful customer relationships: identify new business growth opportunities and continue to grow collaborative partnerships with our existing customers that will strengthen the future of the Morwell business
- set business objectives and operating standards: establish and communicate clear objectives and work standards, sharing and celebrating progress
- foster an inclusive high-performing team: coach and motivate your team to ensure high capability, performance and engagement levels
- achieve optimal safety and operational outcomes: ensure effective processes and procedures are in place to keep our people safe and the site compliant with relevant acts, legislation and business policies
