We are currently seeking a passionate full time Speech Pathologist to join a mobile team in Canberra.
This is a diverse role comprising Speech Pathology specific assessments, interventions and planning predominantly in the NDIS and home care package space to increase people’s communication and independence in all aspects of their lives. The position of SP is to provide a high quality, effective and efficient service to clients accomplished by working as a member of the integrated health care team with a focus on providing person centred, holistic and goal directed care that promotes clients’ wellness and active participation in decisions about their care.
Day to Day task and duties
- Coordination of appointments
- Completing and managing service agreements
- Direct and indirect supports
- Travel to and from the participant's home
- Report writing for commutation plans, therapy plans, Assistive technology request
- Responding to emails
- Working with Vulnerable people check ACT
- Speech Pathology degree
- Professional indemnity insurance
- NDIS orientation module
- Driver’s licence and Car
- Police check <3 years old
- 100 points of ID
- Right to work in AUS
- Covid infection control certificate
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to be a team player
