What does the role look like?
- Oversee ALDI’s food rescue program including governance, day-to-day coordination, and reporting.
- Engage with stakeholders across Store Operations, Warehouse Operations, and food rescue organisations to optimise food rescue outcomes.
- Support development and implementation of staff engagement and behaviour changes programs
- Build and manage relationships with ALDI’s extensive network of food rescue partners through engagement and assist in the development of strategic support initiatives.
- Support the monitoring, development and implementation of legislative and organisational policies, guidelines, and processes to ensure compliance.
- Provide support to the National Sustainability and other operational teams on waste reduction and diversion projects.
