The role
We are looking for a Senior Payroll Officer to join our Finance team at our Prestons site in Southwest Sydney.
Our payroll team are responsible for managing the payroll across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting through to the Group Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Coordination of new employee documents
- Separation of employment activities
- Master file maintenance and updates
- Leave management (Kronos and ConnX)
- Weekly and Monthly payroll processing (MicrOpay)
- Month end reporting
This is a typical fast paced Payroll Officer role where you can bring to life your ‘do it right the first time attitude’, your love for following processes and procedures, and your passion for teamwork.
About you
You will have the normal requirements of an experienced Payroll Officer, and if you can tick the box on the details below, then we want to hear from you!
- Previous experience (3-5 years) in full function payroll
- Be helpful and have the mindset that nothing is too much of a problem for you
- Have strong computer skills within the Microsoft Office suite
- Be known as someone who has a keen eye for detail and produces accurate work
- Experience with month end statutory reporting (superannuation and payroll tax)
- Experience using MicrOpay, and it would be great if you have used Kronos and ConnX as well!
- Experience collaborating effectively with HR
