The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Lysaght business in our Emu Plains team as a Production Scheduling Manager. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.

In this varied role, you will be responsible for providing schedules to multiple inter-connected production units to maximise productivity and meet customer needs. This role entails balancing production constraints and variation with customer priorities and adapting to process variation.

What Will You Do?

Being the face of BlueScope for our customers, you will be:

  • managing and developing a team of 3 to deliver daily scheduling requirements that include: Roofing & walling, Rainwater goods, flashings (including detailing), curving and selected structural products
  • developing schedules for all units to meet current and backlog delivery demands
  • responding to all enquiries and redirecting to other members of the team where required
  • working with production, loading and transport teams to ensure scheduling sequences and timing are optimised
  • creating appropriate reports on priority packing to ensure delivery needs for customers are met
