BESIX Watpac are currently looking for State Quality Manager to join our NSW business working closely with our senior management across all of our projects to drive our quality objectives. Duties include:
- Proactively drive company safety policies, practices and procedures in compliance with OH&S legislative requirements to provide a safe workplace at all times.
- Ensure compliance with the requirements of Quality Assurance Standards ISO 900
- Ensure coordination and adequate support in the implementation of the company’s Quality & Environmental policies is given to all levels of management and supervision, and to liaise directly with managers in the company to achieve the company’s stated objectives.
- Assist project managers with implementation of Quality & Environmental systems including Environmental Monitoring, Inspection and Testing regimes on projects and provide support and technical assistance to site.
- Provide recommendations for management review toward Systems/Operational improvement.
- Initiate and maintain Quality & Environmental system documentation including, manuals, procedures forms and project management plans.
- Coordinate the maintenance of company based information regarding acceptable Subcontractors/Suppliers, provide evaluations based on review of submitted documentation, or other approved criteria.
- Develop, establish and maintain a record storage system and the company Record Management System to meet Quality and statutory requirements.
- Establish and maintain a programme of internal quality & environmental management system auditing to measure and control effectiveness of the systems.
- Coordinate and maintain the company’s best practice accreditation with DSTAR.
