The objective of the program is to create a strong pool of Buddies/Coaches to support our next intakes of CSRs; however, at the same time it’s a great opportunity and a potential next step in your development and career pathway at Civica. This is not a full-time role.
The aim of this program is to:
- Providing the Buddies & New Starters a clear understanding of what is expected of them during their participation in the program
- Clearly defining the expectations and outcomes of this program
- Supporting the Buddies through training and upskilling for their personal & professional development
The Buddy Program has been designed to support our new joiners in their initial few weeks here at Civica Justice Services. This 4-week on-the-job training/induction program is succeeded by the 2-week class room training for all new Customer Service Representatives joining CJS. The program has proven to make new hires feel comfortable and confident from the very beginning. It has also benefited extensively by creating a more positive and supportive work environment through fostering stronger relationships between new and existing team members.
The buddy can make the new employee feel welcome, answer questions and help the new person navigate through Civica’s culture. This leads the new employee to feel comfortable sooner and to achieve a sense of acceptance and belonging.
A successful buddy candidate would be an engaged team member who demonstrates the Civica Way attributes, promotes a positive culture, has a demonstrated ability to deliver consistently high standards of customer experience and thoroughly understands CJS/FV processes and systems.
Being a buddy is more than just helping someone adjust to a new job. It's a chance to:
