Role Overview:

As the Business Development Manager at Simple Sample Australia, you will be a key player in expanding our market reach, driving revenue growth, and building lasting relationships with building material suppliers in Australia. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's success while working in a fast-paced and collaborative startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

.Sales Strategy and Execution:

•Develop and implement a sales strategy that works for you to achieve revenue targets.

•Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals and market analysis.

•Nurture and expand relationships with existing clients to drive new business.

.Supplier Acquisition:

•Research to identify potential clients and industry trends to optimise sales pitches to prospective clients

•Generate leads and manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to deal closure.

.Sales Presentations and Negotiations:

•Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to clients and partners.

•Negotiate terms and agreements, ensuring win-win outcomes for all parties involved.

.Sales Reporting and Analysis:

•Track and analyze sales performance metrics to inform decision-making and strategy refinement.

•Provide regular updates and reports to the leadership team on sales progress.

•Proven track record of success in business development and sales, preferably within a startup environment. Experience in the building and construction industry and existing contacts is highly valued.

•Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

•Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
