We’re on the lookout for a marketing-obsessed professional to join Logicalis Australia! Our marketing team’s vision is to be the benchmark of excellence for Logicalis, globally. The Content and Communications Manager will be pivotal in enabling the success of this vision, leading external communications and owning brand-focused always on marketing activity nationally.
This position reports to the Head of Marketing. It plays a critical role in helping us gain recognition in the market as a leading MSP and digital innovator, through the management of numerous initiatives. These include highly effective PR, case study and awards programs, reaching key media outlets, and helping to increase Logicalis Australia’s share of voice, power of voice and brand presence in front of key audiences.
This role will also see you partner with members of the SLT, sales and practice leads, and our technical team to execute a content strategy across our key channels. You will also partner with our agencies and our global teams to ensure strategic alignment and visibility.
The Person
You are a talented and energetic marketing and communications professional with a knack for building rapport and driving outcomes from your relationships. You are a content-obsessed B2B-focused marketer who is passionate about telling powerful and compelling stories, and you could proof and edit content with your eyes closed (but maybe don’t try that…!).
You possess a successful track record in content development and copywriting, campaign messaging, and have had experience with digital marketing in the past. Ideally you have a background in the ICT channel.

Accountabilities
Media Relations, PR and Comms:
• Manage local PR agency relationship/s and drive agreed key outcomes across number of media releases, share of voice, byline articles and more.
• Lead the ‘news bureau’ by thinking of creative and interesting ways to bring the Logicalis story to life with a steady drumbeat of “always-on storytelling.”
• Orchestrate Logicalis Australia’s positioning across industry and focused news media through planned, opportunistic, and reactive involvement in stories in partnership with our PR agency.
• Review and proof materials including press releases, briefing documents, bylines and media statements.
• Manage regional research/surveys with relevant stakeholders to drive thought leadership and media coverage.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with influential journalists, with a focus on tier 1 media
• Build public profile of key management personnel, through opportunistic quoting, panel presence and potential speaking engagements to strategic audiences.
• Organise/facilitate media training of key spokespeople as required.
• Own and orchestrate our awards program.
• Support Group and other regions (as required) with PR needs.
• Consult on and support internal comms as required.
• Track and report SOV and other metrics as required to gauge effectiveness of the MR/PR function.
Content and Digital:
• Use storytelling and writing skills to translate Logicalis Australia’s corporate narrative into content assets used for; sales enablement, communications (internal & external), social media, traditional media placements (paid, earned, owned) and campaigns.
• Own the content strategy and drive content development for our SEO program, working with our agency/copywriters and ensuring alignment to our SEO targets.
• Creation of lifecycle email customer marketing programs and journey mapping/working with key business stakeholders to improve customer experience.
• Own our website content and work with our internal web designer to keep the website up-todate and aligned to our strategic business outcomes.
• Assist with the development and management of a thought leadership program including blogs, awards, whitepapers, and articles.
• Assist with the development and management of a customer story program, ensuring a steady beat of local customer success stories.
• Assist with the development and management of partner specific content such as partnership status collateral and reports.
• Develop the public profiles of our Senior Leadership Team
• Tertiary or degree qualification in marketing, public relations, business or communications
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a marketing communications professional within a B2B environment
• Familiarity with digital marketing including SEO, social (focus on LinkedIn) and email
• Familiar with the Microsoft productivity suite including Teams, Office, Excel and PowerPoint
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
• Experience with channel/partner marketing and working with vendors, specifically within the ICT sector
• Experience working within HubSpot or equivalent marketing automation systems
In addition to salary, this role will also earn commission on the margin made from product sales.
