Hi, we’re Eva - welcome home.

With our laser focus on bringing more thoughtful design to your everyday life, we want you to come join us as we accelerate towards making more people feel at home with Eva.

What's the role about?

As the Senior Content Manager, you’ll be the ideator, creator and driver of creative content aligned with our brand strategy. Working collaboratively with the broader marketing team, you have a deep understanding of content creation, optimisation and analytics. Naturally, you enjoy taking a data-informed approach (e.g., website traffic, email open-rates, engagement rates, customer feedback) to inform content strategy.

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing/Founder, you'll play a pivotal role in helping our customers discover our thoughtful products and the warm brand we’ve created.

To amplify Eva through fun, compelling, share-worthy stories for our diverse demographic, you’ll manage the creative team to ensure the implementation of Eva’s digital content strategy, content management and production processes.

Note: This is a full-works-kind-of-role, and you have to be passionate about what you do. You’re going to be surrounded by people who love what they’re doing and want to work with others who share the same passion. We’re an extremely supportive and close-knit team who are all about producing the best marketing in Australia. We'd love to meet you if you share the same ambitions!

Here's what a day in the job looks like:

  • Create, optimise and manage content that drives compelling communication, brand and digital presence in line with our marketing strategy and business goals
  • Track and report content effectiveness whilst overseeing content performance to inform content decisions and optimise strategy
  • Actively develop new and efficient content processes and templates for digital content planning, creation and delivery.
  • Creation and management of content calendars and production schedules and ensuring the process is optimised
  • Manage total content budget and resources effectively, planning within brand P&L to deliver against key brand objectives.
  • Management, professional development and resource management of the creative team
  • Champion best practices, industry trends and continuously refine our content to capture target audience
  • Be a brand guardian to ensure flawless execution across brand voice and style across our digital content campaigns

What do you look like?

  • A minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role with a good understanding of the online/digital media campaign space
  • A minimum of 3 years experience managing content and creative teams
  • Experience working with digital design and short form video to tell stories
  • Experience working with digital marketing agencies and have an understanding of the content nuances required for each social platform (Instagram, Youtube etc)
  • Extremely organised and love using project management tools like Monday to get projects done on-time.
  • The ability to manage & successfully execute multiple concurrent projects
  • A portfolio of successful campaign examples you have helped produce

Other things we’d love for you to mention if you have it:

  • Experience working within a startup or ecommerce environment
  • Experience with post-production and editing skills
  • Experience shooting (photo or video)
  • A special area of interest that you can bring to Eva team trivia (regrettably, an encyclopaedic knowledge of the The Office are taken at this time)
  • Eva believes in the power of a diverse team and is fully committed to building and maintaining an inclusive culture. We encourage applicants from all walks of life.
  • Be part of a B-Corp company, one of only eight furniture companies in Australia
  • Support for any learning and development course, conference or training that will help us mutually grow, ears and budget for any wild (but justifiable) ideas.
  • Annual Rest & Recover day, where the entire company shuts down for a day to rejuvenate
  • Free anniversary mattress, free yearly Eva products and generous friend/family discounts.
  • All the coffee/ tea/ beers/ kombucha you need.
  • Monthly team events (prev. events have included the Australian open, cooking classes & escape rooms).
  • An autonomous work environment where there is never a regular ‘days work’.
  • A diverse culture and a bunch of really lovely people.

We’re reviewing applications as they come in, so send yours right in if you think you're the one.

Cosy regards,

Amanda from Eva
