The Mercure Townsville is on the lookout for a Fulltime Maintenance Handyperson. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this varied role requires you to maintain the building, plant & equipment, fixtures and fittings throughout the Hotel to the required standards. You will be part of the team that ensures we provide a safe and functional environment for all guests, visitors, and employees.
The Role:
- Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on property’s facilities and equipment. This includes basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs.
- Inspect all areas of the property for safety issues and take immediate corrective action
- Servicing of plant and general equipment as directed.
- Assisting other team members in the completion of their duties.
- Complying with safe work practices by following AccorHotels WHS and Environmental policies.
- Assist guests regarding property facilities in an informative and helpful way
