About the Role:

As the Government Relations Senior Adviser, you will be responsible for the day-to-day engagement with government on policies, programs and standards and advising on how they will impact and influence CDC’s operations. The Adviser will be responsible for developing CDC’s positions to government entities and ensuring that CDC’s interests are effectively communicated and advanced through advocacy, relationship building and strategic engagement with elected and appointed officials, government agencies, industry groups and other stakeholders.

Duties include:

• Build and maintain relationships with elected offices, government agencies, and key stakeholders.

• Analyse and track policy and regulatory developments, providing strategic insights to stakeholders.

• Represent CDC in routine meetings with government entities and stakeholders.

• Lead advocacy campaigns to promote CDC’s stance on key issues.

• Prepare and deliver impactful submissions and presentations to government bodies.

• Support the development of formal partnerships and provide specialized knowledge of regulatory frameworks while ensuring internal collaboration for an effective government relations approach.

About You:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong government-based stakeholder engagement skills with a strong exposure to government relations, public affairs, policy development or related field. You will have high-level written and interpersonal presentation skills, suitable for engaging at executive and board levels, effectively representing the company in engagements with stakeholders.

Working Rights:
