The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Metalcorp business in our Kewdale team as a Customer Service Representative. Metalcorp is a leading rural Australian steel distributor, supplying brands for the land through our branches and stockists across Australia.

In this diverse and challenging role, you will support our team by managing enquiries via phone and email as well as face to face. As a self-motivated, quick thinker, you quickly adapt and can juggle more than one task at any given time. You also enjoy being busy and working in a supportive team environment. 

This is a Monday to Friday role allowing some flexibility in start times and offering a competitive remuneration package as well as wellbeing and health initiatives including access to our Employee Assistance Provider, on-site car parking, and on-going training.

What Will You Do?

Being the face of Metalcorp for our customers, you will:

  • interact with our customers over the phone, email and in person at the trade counter managing quotes, projects, orders and queries
  • follow-up on quotations and inquiries converting these into sales opportunities
  • collaborate with internal stakeholders including marketing, warehouse and sales departments to ensure customer expectations and requirements are met
  • nurture and grow relationships with customers to uncover new business and sales opportunities
  • resolving issues and seeking ways to improve the customer’s experience
