The position is Second in Command, reporting to the manager and/or owners. ?This is a hands on role working with angus cattle, undertaking:Feeding, Water checksAnimal welfareTreatments and health checks of the cattleMechanical duties on machinery Liaising with owners, other staff members and transport companies General day to day duties Stock reporting ?As it is a feedlot, there is a large focus on biosecurity measures to promote the health and welfare of the cattle at all times so you will be responsible for ensuring all standards are met by yourself and other staff members. ?Our client offers a great salary package that is negotiable to your level of experience. There is also accommodation provided either on farm or in town depending on your preference!
