We want to build our people's skills and encourage them to achieve great things. The Program Holcim is launching our “Women on Wheels” program in Australia; an exciting 7-week program providing training to obtain your HR licence and mentorship throughout the program, before progressing through to the final operational assessment, which is conducted by our highly skilled Driver Assessment Team. The program includes professional external Pro Driver heavy vehicle training with Driver Education Centre of Australia (DECA) through Wodonga TAFE, and also a metro based truck driving school. Upon successful completion of the final assessment, you will be awarded a full-time job with Holcim based out of our Wonthaggi Plant, as one of our concrete agitator truck drivers. You will be paid for the full duration of the training program, including while you are obtaining your HR licence. About You This is a great opportunity for women of all backgrounds and experience; whether you are returning to the workforce, looking for a career change, or someone completely new to the workforce. This isn't about the experience you have as you will be provided all the training that you need. We are looking for people who are hard working, self-motivated, with initiative and able to meet deadlines. You may not have had the opportunity to explore this field of work due to the costs associated in obtaining the required qualifications. However, if you already hold a current HR licence, we also encourage you to apply, as we have other roles across Australia. There are some minimum requirements that successful candidates will be required to meet: You must hold a full unrestricted car licence, that you have held for a minimum of 2 years You will be required to pass a full medical assessment which comprises of physical assessment, general health, plus Drug & Alcohol screening You must be able to commit to the duration of the training program and be committed to obtaining a full-time role with Holcim after…
