D&S Resources is a family-owned business that operates in the Mining, Defence and Construction industry sectors providing Procurement and Project Management services.

We pride ourselves on our unique ability to add value to our client’s businesses by offering engineering and project management consultation, drawing on our management team’s vast experience in these key areas. As our business is growing, we are looking for an experienced plumber to join our team with a 9/5 or 13/8 roster. Pay rate is $40 - $50 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, valves, and fittings.
Inspect and test plumbing systems for leaks, malfunctions, and other issues.
Collaborate with construction and maintenance teams to ensure plumbing requirements are met in new projects.
Monitor and maintain water distribution and sewage systems.
Implement measures for efficient water usage and waste disposal.
Troubleshoot and repair issues related to water treatment and purification systems.
Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies, such as leaks and clogs.
Implement quick and effective solutions to minimize downtime and potential damage.
Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of plumbing installations, repairs, and inspections.
Collaborate with regulatory agencies during inspections.
Work closely with other maintenance and construction teams to coordinate plumbing activities.
Provide input into project planning to ensure plumbing requirements are considered.
Properly use and maintain plumbing tools and equipment.
Report any faulty or damaged tools and equipment for repair or replacement.
Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
Participate in safety training programs and promote a safety-conscious work environment.
About you

Valid plumbing license/certification.
Machine tickets are not required but will be advantageous
Proven experience as a Plumber in an industrial or mining setting.
Knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Familiarity with various pipe materials and joining methods
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Physical fitness and the ability to work in confined spaces and adverse conditions.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
