ASV Euro Car Parts is well known with its reputation in supplying new and used spare parts across variety of European makes and models with its presence in every major city in Australia as well as one in Auckland. As a result of its recent growth strategy and restructure in its IT Team, an opportunity has arisen for an individual to join our IT team.
Working closely with the management, all departments and branches, your responsibilities will involve but not limited to the following:
• Providing IT support nationally to 100+ staff members
• Identify and analyse business processes and provide support to remote users
• Recommending improvements to system functionality and behavior
• Assist users with technical issues, troubleshooting, installation and configuration of hardware and software
• Developing technical operating system specifications, describing the requirements for the functions, the data inputs, the data processing and the data outputs of the system
• Coordinating and participating in functional IT system testing and user acceptance testing, for all system changes or new software functionality
• Consultant to the business process owner in reviewing the business case for a new system or enhancements to a current system
• Testing delivered applications and insures they properly meet the requirements and solve the business needs
• Responsible for the knowledge transfer of training and support resources by creating and maintaining guidelines, training materials and documentation for business process
• Administer and manage users and permissions for company's ERP system (Momentum Pro), yard management system (Pinnacle Pro), shared network drive and emails
• PABX / phone system servicing and amendments to users and groups, and managing call data
• Monitor systems daily and verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, software, and systems
The successful candidate will be a proactive, multi-tasking, self-motivated individual & also possess:
• At least a bachelor’s degree in a related Information Technology field (such as computer science, data analysis, network engineering or computer systems) or equivalent
• Strong IT Support skills in a Microsoft Environment
• Experience with VMware, Firewalls and Mobile/Tablet (Apple/ Android) device support.
• Good technical skills supporting Windows 7/10
• Experience with Office 2003/2007/2010/365
• Experience managing Active Directory services
• Exchange Server 2010 administration skills
• Strong understanding and prior experience in resolving security and current malware issues
• Ability to assist in the implementation and on-going support of a broad range of IT infrastructure projects
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility to adapt to business needs while enjoying fast paced environments with wide variety
• Excellent customer service, analytical & problem-solving skills
