Machan Nights is looking for Chefs to work in our busy kitchen morning and evening shifts.
This is a full-time role
CHEFS: 70K to 74K

Job duties and responsibilities: -
Cooks & presents the dishes attractively and creatively according to the procedures which are necessary to keep nutrition related to vegetables and meats.
Manages all activities associated with food services.
Portion control
Directs and organizes kitchen staff in the correct preparation, garnishing, and serving of meals.
Menu planning, food costing and purchasing.
Organizing Catering and Buffets.
Training and induction of new and existing staff.
Must be available for weekends.
Ensures meals are presented attractively and at the correct temperature.
Preparing a roaster and organizing staff for the smooth functioning of the kitchen.
Responsible for maintaining the health and safety, including the kitchen environment and the food area in hygiene and safety standards.
Working closely with the front team/ Restaurant Manager
Skills and experience
Experience in Pub, Sri Lankan, Asian cooking and pastry will be an advantage
Relevant formal qualifications and at least two years of work experience considered an advantage
