Qualifications: Trade or Qualification in Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering White Card Driving License Experience: Extensive experience in civil or tunnelling construction, typically 5 years of experience in a supervisory role Experience in basic use of Microsoft Office Suite, data and file recording. Minimum 5 years' experience working on TBM projects Experience on major infrastructure construction operations of similar scale with a proven ability to operate in a dynamic 'live' environment and to meet significant program hurdles. Experience in Safety, Community and Environmental Management Experience in Quality Management Experience in Planning & Resourcing Required Competencies: In depth knowledge of TBM, conveyors and associated tunnel related equipment Sound knowledge of civil construction materials / service Sound knowledge of local WHS standards and regulations Ability to supervise team members, work closely with safety and other departments to control and maintain project safety standards Demonstrate a positive “can-do” attitude. Ability to lead and manage teams Demonstrate initiative and creative problem-solving skills Practical knowledge and understanding of computers and Microsoft software packages.
