To find out more about what we do at Benedict, visit out website: Job Description About the role As a Plant Operator at Cowra Quarry, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and safe operation of machinery, including excavators and front-end loaders, contributing to the extraction and processing of high-quality materials. Responsibilities: Operate and maintain the plant, with a focus on excavators and front end loaders. Safely and efficiently conduct excavation operations to extract materials. Ensure the smooth operation of the plant, performing routine inspections and pre-starts. Collaborate with the team to meet production targets and quality standards. Adhere to all safety guidelines, policies and procedures. Desired Skills and Experience Desired Skills and Experiences: Proven experience as a Plant Operator, specifically in excavator and front end loader operations. Proficient in the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery. Strong understanding of quarry operations and materials processing. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Commitment to safety and adherence to all industry regulations. Previous experience in a similar role within the mining or quarrying industry is highly desired.
