About The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Software Analyst with experience in designing, developing and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms. You will have sound knowledge of cloud maintenance, application deployment experience, developing operational excellence for our clients will be key to help building out a successful team.
As a Software Analyst for FIS you will work closely with our global engineering team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solution for our major global clients. You will also:
Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for AWS solutions including planning, requirements, development, testing and quality assurance
Engage with application developers throughout the full development life-cycle – from inception and design to deployment, operation, and iterative development.
Experience working on large scale implementation projects with multi-national clients and multiple stakeholders across the business
Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards for code quality and thoughtful design.
Manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.
Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for AWS solutions including planning requirements, development, testing and quality assurance.
Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix, and document problems, and implement preventive measures.
Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training when necessary.
Identify, triage, and automate systems. Evolve systems by pushing for change that improve reliability and developer velocity.
Ensure security and auditing of the client environments.
What You Will Need:
Three or more years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms.
Experience with database architecture, EKS/AKS, Kubernetes, docker, akamai, ServiceNow ticket management, Terraform, CI/CD
Experience working with Linux/UNIX, Docker, Windows
Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary onshore and offshore teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject-matter experts.
Hands on experience developing and engineering software and consumer facing applications.
Familiarity with Domain Driven Design and Event Driven Architecture
Experience working with SQL Server databases.
Experience working in a distributed, cloud-based environment using Azure/AWS (Docker/Kubernetes)
Experience with modern SDLC tools, branching strategies, and ability to develop and enforce CI/CD practices.
Systematic problem-solving approach with excellent communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive
