About the Role Reporting to the Supervisor Port Maintenance Execution, as a Terminal Maintenance Electrical Tradesperson you will be responsible for performing routine online, offline and shutdown maintenance tasks on a range of fixed plant and Port Infrastructure as well as providing planning and technical input to ensure the safe delivery of department objectives. The Technician Fixed Plant Electrical roles are based in the Mackay Region at the Hay Point Coal Terminal Site, working a 5/4 rotating Day Roster. The role is Dayshift only (with the possibility that some nightshift) may be required if requested or for future crew openings. This is a great roster, Mackay and surrounds offers excellent lifestyle opportunities and development opportunities are on offer. This role is a residentially located role (no FIFO). In this role you will: Comply to and consistently follow the standards and procedures designed to enable you to work safely and effectively every day Complete allocated planned maintenance tasks  Undertake unplanned or breakdown maintenance tasks including problem solving, fault finding and diagnosis Provide feedback to the maintenance supervisor on job progress Undertake assigned improvement projects Work with your team to a high level of accountability and be able to build proactive relationships across all site teams About You To be successful in this role you will have a relevant trade qualification with proven maintenance experience in Fixed Plant maintenance. Your active focus on safety, drive and passion to improve will see you succeed in this role. Your people and communication skills are of the upmost importance, as well as your relationship skills when liaising, negotiating and influencing a range of internal and external stakeholders. Previous experience with 1SAP will be beneficial. The nature of the role requires you to be a forward thinker and focused on process discipline.
