Chandler Macleod is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter for our client site located in Heatherbrae. The role will evolve and change over time, in line with the changing strategic and operational requirements of the organisation to deliver quality services to their clients. What’s in it for you:$120K Base super incentives38-hour week, 4-day week (6am - 4pm)Travel and field service work Key Responsibilities:Attend customer sites as required and perform maintenance duties in accordance with SOW and direction from the supervisor on site within the regionConduct independent assessment of work to recognise problems or anomalies in work and make immediate changes to improve performance and/or seek advice when necessaryAdhere to OH&S management system and compliance to site OH&S requirementsParticipating in workshop duties as requiredComplete inspection and test procedures when conducting maintenance work at mine sitesLiaise with the customer when required to correctly identify technical problems and seek to resolve them quickly and efficientlyAttend inductions, familiarisations and training courses Role Requirements:Current relevant trade qualificationMust have current drivers licenceMust have solid technical knowledge of process or related equipmentMust have or willingness to obtain relevant tickets to be inducted to site including but not limited to working at heights, confined space working, dogging, crane operation and forklift certificatesExcellent time management skillsProven customer relationship management skillsProven ability to understand, interpret and meet complex technical customer needsKnowledge and experience in coal mine isolation procedures & processes If you meet the above criteria, please submit your application by hitting APPLY NOW.
