Overview The right applicant will be committed to a strategic, systematic, integrated approach to WHS and wellbeing management, and the promotion of a healthy workforce in the context of a patient care environment. The objective of the WHS Consultant is to contribute to and enable, a planned and coordinated approach to health and safety risks in the workplace. Responsibilities Relevant tertiary qualifications in WHS and / or equivalent professional experience in WHS or risk management in the Healthcare sector.Demonstrated experience in contributing to the development, implementation and review of, WHS Management Systems (such WHS policies, procedures and programs) that leads to improved WHS performance of organisations.Demonstrated experience in responding effectively to WHS incidents and conducting formal investigations using a defined methodology.Demonstrated experience in contributing to the development, implementation and review of WHS training programs.Demonstrated experience in the use of incident and claims data systems to develop proposed WHS risk reduction strategies, initiatives and programs.Demonstrated experience in facilitating WHS change in a large and diverse work environment with multiple site locations.Demonstrated high level skills in active listening, negotiation, conflict resolution and other communication (oral and written).Demonstrated ability to coordinate programs and projects in a high volume work environment whilst managing competing priorities.Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.If you are interested in this role please apply now or contact [email protected]
