Based in the Illawarra and Wollondilly regions of the southern coalfields (about 75 kilometres south of Sydney) our client is part of a globally diversified mining and metals company. They have an immediate requirement for an Electrical Maintainer Operator to join their production team to support both production and maintenance activities at their Appin Mine Washery Site. You will be part of a motivated high achieving team and will have: An electrical trade background with industrial experience and electrical licenceHigh Voltage experience (or the ability to work towards this competency)Coal Handling and Coal Preparation experience will be highly regarded.A confined space and WAH ticket (with rescue highly regarded)A First Aid / CPR certificate (or the ability to acquire one)A current Order 43 Coal Board Medical (or ability to acquire one)A sound safety record and commitment to safetyValid Driver’s LicenceWhat's in it for you? 10-hour day/40 hour ordinary week (7 hours ordinary and 3 hours’ time and a half each day)5 weeks annual leaveWeekly safety bonusWeekly attendance bonusAdditional overtime available Responsibilities will include electrical inspections, maintenance/repair of LV and HV equipment, effective use of SAP to manage work plans, responding to plant and site wide break downs and the ongoing demonstration of and commitment to site safety.
