Clinical Nurse / Permanent part-time, 38 hours per fortnight (negotiable) located at the Kirwan Health Campus About your opportunity This role works autonomously within the Health and Wellbeing Team structure and is pivotal in the planning, managing and delivery of Youth Health specialist nursing care utilising the social model of health and applying the principles of primary health care within the secondary school setting. Role Requirements: Possession of Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent is mandatory for this position. Nursing: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager prior to commencement of clinical duties. Highly Desirable: Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field is highly desirable. Such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus. Drivers Licence:This position requires the applicant to have a C Class motor vehicle licence and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty. This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis. The applicant ideally will have a working knowledge of a range of software packages used in the clinical and management environment, including the Microsoft Windows, Excel, Access, Matrix and Power Point. Generous pro rata remuneration package (based on full-time equivalent value) up to $128,435 p.a. (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1 comprising: Salary range of $52.86 to $56.60 p.h.
