Merlin Marine & Leisure Pty Ltd are looking for a full time experienced and qualified TIG & MIG aluminium welder who has a strong background in marine applications.
The ideal candidate will posses previous experience in a similar environment, be able to work within a team and answer to the factory foreman.
Skill set required for this role includes but is not limited to:
Advanced TIG & MIG welding.
Strong experience in aluminium fabrication.
Ready for immediate start.
Specific experience in marine applications.
Ability to keep the work environment clean and safe.
To respect co-workers.
To attend training where/when required.
Your own transport, job specific tooling.
To be reliable and punctual.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Job Specific Skills:
Study drawings and/or specifications to determine job requirements.
Selecting and preparing metal stock, fabrication tools and equipment.
Cutting, rolling, bending, shaping, moulding, spinning, heating or hammering of metal products to fabricate parts or sub-assemblies.
Fitting and assembling metal components by riveting, bolting, welding, brazing or soldering.
Measuring quality of fabricated parts or sub-assemblies.
