Mama Nuoi is looking for passionate, enthusiastic and cook who is looking to kick start their culinary career and knows how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations.
Duties:
• Assisting the Executive Chef in day-to-day operation of the kitchen
• Preparing menus as requested
• Producing food for guests efficiently, economically, and hygienically
• Maintaining a high standard of food preparation and presentation, according to recipes and standards
• Using all equipment, tools, and machines appropriately
• Assisting with inventory and HACCP management
• Working closely with the Stewarding department and all other kitchen staff
• Maintaining a professional and positive attitude towards colleagues, supervisors, and guests
Ideal Candidate:
• Commercial Cookery Cert IV or above
• Minimum 2 year experience in similar role
• Great Understanding of Vietnamese cuisine and culture.
• Strong English communication
• Confident leadership abilities
• Knowledgeable in HACCP
• Always displays a professional appearance, representing our brand.
• Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends & public holidays.
• A genuine passion for gastronomy and the art and flair for creating unique and memorable dining
• experiences.
