Are you a temporary work scaffolding design engineer experienced within the industrial sector? Your new company This is a global engineering company, leaders in the design of scaffolding and formwork for industrial and commercial projects. Your new role We are looking for a Design Engineer / Senior Design Engineer (Industrial Scaffold) to join our team and provide design and engineering support for our industrial projects. You will be responsible for designing safe, efficient and cost-effective scaffold systems using either AT-PAC or Layher ringlock scaffold systems. You will also use Microstran or Spacegass structural software to perform structural analysis and Autocad to produce detailed drawings. You will work closely with our clients, site teams and draftspersons to deliver high-quality solutions that meet their needs and expectations. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need:
Experience in structural design of scaffold systems for industrial sites /oil & gas industry
Experience with either AT-PAC or Layher ringlock scaffold systems
Intermediate skills in Microstran or Spacegass structural software
Intermediate skills in Autocad
Ability to interpret site sketches and produce value-engineered solutions
Additionally, it would be desirable if you had:
Intermediate skills in sketchup or revit
CPEng or NER
Experience training/guiding scaffold draftspersons
