Boddington offers a unique opportunity to live in the South West, only 130 kms from the Perth CBD and approximately 100kms from the coast so there will be plenty of time to enjoy the lifestyle this area has to offer.    We are seeking applications from suitably experienced and qualified Electrical Instrumentation Technician's wanting to join our Electrical Process Maintenance team. You will join a diverse team and have the opportunity to advance your career with an innovative company. Working an 8:6:7:7 roster, (8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off) there is plenty of time to enjoy the lifestyle this area can offer you.  You will be required to monitor and maintain equipment in this large crushing and processing plant ensuring we continue to safely meet and exceed our throughput targets. You will carry out servicing and electrical maintenance for all electrical equipment within the Process Maintenance Department’s area of responsibility.  You will ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and effectively and will be responsible for maximising the use of scheduled maintenance and minimising the impact of unscheduled works. You will have previous experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical, electronic and instrumentation equipment used in a mining or large industrial processing environment. A proactive approach and ability to problem solve along with self-motivation will be highly regarded. Qualifications and Competencies Required: Experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical, electronic and instrumentation equipment used in large industrial processing environments Proactive approach, and ability to problem solve A current WA Electrical Workers Licence An understanding of AS3000, Mines Regulations and Acts as well as other relevant standards, acts and regulations C class manual drivers licence Highly regarded: A Certificate IV in Electrical Instrumentation Understanding of Defect Elimination principles and its application Understanding of Maintenance Work Management Processes complete with use of CMMS (i.e. SAP or similar) A High Voltage Switching certificate with High Voltage experience A High Risk Licence for forklift and EWP Unit of competency in confined space and working at heights Applications close Wednesday, January 10,  2024, with shortlisting to commence immediately.  As the successful applicant, you will receive an industry competitive remuneration package inclusive of health insurance, short-term incentives, EAP programs, generous parental leave and employee rewards and benefit of a global company.
