Swickers Kingaroy Bacon Factory Pty Ltd is an export meat processing facility, based in the South Burnett Region, QLD and is ideally located just 2 - 3 hours’ drive to Brisbane, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast and Fraser Coast. Swickers has been in operation in Kingaroy for over 50 years and today employs approximately 900 employees.
As part of the Sunpork Group, Swickers is a state-of-the-art processing facility specialising solely in the production of fresh pork and distributing it widely across Australia and internationally. Swickers processes 95% of all Queensland’s pork production, including the production of various pork value-add products for consumers worldwide. Swickers is the largest Australian owned pork processor and continues to be a market leader in pork production.

The opportunity
We are seeking people who share our commitment to quality, safety, and customer service, and are looking for a focused and friendly working environment.
We currently have 100 vacancies onsite for various meat processing and production roles within the processing plant. This work will commence immediately and is ongoing work for the foreseeable future.
We can offer:
• Opportunities for skilled and skilled positions;
• Competitive above award wages – $22.6094 per hour for entry level positions ranging up to $29.0250 per hour for skilled positions;
• Superannuation paid at 11.5%;
• Monday to Friday work with various working hours and shifts available.
• Ability to work varying hours and different rosters;
• Ability to learn and grow within the business and apply for internal promotions.
