Due to our exponential growth and quickly expanding client base, we're looking for Senior Financial Accountants to join our team. If you come from public practice but are looking for a more rewarding, client-facing role with a business that prioritises growth, purpose and a values focused culture, then this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentoring mid-level and junior staff through reviewing work, providing clear, concise and supportive feedback within a culture-focused environment
  • Preparation and review of monthly management reports, budgets and cash flow forecasts for clients’ businesses
  • Explaining the key insights from financial information and management reporting to small business owners, in a clear and simple manner
  • Utilising Xero to build dashboards that deliver accurate and timely financial insights 
  • Prioritising and handling multiple tasks and jobs effectively, while still maintaining high-quality work
  • Being the focal point for all queries and advice from your clients, ensuring they get the support they need from our services
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with your clients, working with them to achieve their business goals.
  • Remaining current on industry trends, changes in regulations and best practices, and effectively communicating this information to clients in a clear and simple manner

Requirements

  • Degree qualified with minimum 2-4 years’ experience in public practice
  • CPA or CA qualified
  • Experience working with small business clients
  • Proficiency in Xero and Xero Practice Manager
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and review the work of junior staff
