This role is a permanent position based in Osborne Park and requires a high level of positive communication and drive, so stakeholder management skills and rapport-building abilities will be looked on just as favourably as technical skills. Job Requirements:
Managing the quality function and the Quality Assurance department
Collecting and analysing food safety and quality results to drive continuous improvement.
Ensuring every stage of production process is compiled with AUS MEAT standard and regulatory requirements
The development of a company's SOP's
Development, maintenance, and implementation of site Quality Management System
Oversee all quality related activities on site in accordance with the WMS, associate SOPs and WI
Training, motivating, coaching, and correcting quality and production employees to ensure that all quality standards and compliance are met.
What you need to Succeed:
A tertiary qualification in food science or related discipline
High level experience of progressively responsible quality assurance experience in the food industry with a high level of GMP/HACCP principles
A proven ability to deliver on a quality management strategy within a food manufacturing company
Strong understanding of food handling and major food safety principles
