Bulga Open Cut is a long established and consistently performing open cut coal operation, located near Singleton in the NSW Hunter Valley. We offer one of the most ideal lifestyle locations with our proximity to Singleton, Maitland and Newcastle being just minutes from the Hunter expressway. The operation has approval to mine over 12Mtpa, with a mine life of 2039. Bulga has a HME fleet with over 130 major assets consisting of: 70 Haul trucks including 797, 793, 789, 930E-5 fleets. 40 mobile assets including 1850’s, D11’s, D10’s, 16M’s, 18M’s, 24M’s, 854’s & 775 Service Carts 12 dig units and 5 drills including a 4100XPC shovel, Hitachi, Liebherr, CAT excavators & a mix of drills. The Role We are currently seeking a motivated Maintenance Planner to oversee the maintenance planning, budget monitoring and safety management with the Maintenance Team. Reporting to the Maintenance Senior Planner, you will be primarily responsible for: Planning of an allocated fleet Creating service Gantt’s Reporting on asset budgets Utilising condition monitoring & asset health functions to feed into the short-term plan. Working closely with the fleet pre-servicer, long-term planner, and team leaders About you Trade certificate or tertiary qualifications in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. Demonstrated exposure to computerised maintenance management systems. Extensive knowledge of SAP. Industry experience or similar mining equipment and/or plant maintenance role.
