1951 Goalkeeper Coaching We are looking for a full time GK Coach to join our Western Australia Goalkeeping Academy The coaching will be for 5/6 days a week for a total of 38 hours with training in 3 locations around Perth Metro area. Trainings will run for approximately 46 weeks a year and the GK coach will be expected to work across all age groups from U9’s to Seniors. Support the delivery of relevant, innovative & enjoyable coaching practices. Support, guide and direct talented young goalkeepers to maximise their potential in sporting performance & personal excellence within the Academy. Manage the planning, coordination and delivery of individual player development plans Manage the planning, coordination and delivery of age appropriate macro, meso and micro training cycles Maintain detailed records of goalkeepers performance in both training and competition environment Promote a culture of trust and collaboration through all actions Act as a role model for colleagues and goalkeepers by demonstrating the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. Interpret, implement and comply with professional codes of practice, legislation and regulations related to delivery of services Set up and pack away training equipment. To be a 1951 GK Coach you will be required to: Able to run coaching sessions independently Able to plan and operate in an organised and co-ordinated manner Flexibile to work at any of our WA locations Computer literate Demonstrate an industrious and productive work ethic. Committed to learning and a growth mindset Confident and able to work both individually and as part of a successful team Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills Be willing to take responsibility and follow tasks to a successful completion. Work on own initiative, take control where needs, guide and support others. Be persistent, patient and an innovative problem solver. Show a willingness to take instruction and follow guidance. Posses a demonstrable desire to see the 1951 GK Academy develop and progress. Qualification & Experience To be a 1951 GK Coach you will have: Valid FFA/AFC Goalkeeping C Licence (Level 1) coaching licence completed before 2023 Willingness to attend FFA/AFC Goalkeeping B Licence (Level 2) coaching licence Valid FFA/AFC C Licence or equivalent Current Working with Children Card or able to obtain one Current driver licence The right to live and work in Australia for a minimum of 12 months Preferred Qualifications: Goalkeeper specific coaching qualifications (FFA/AFC Goalkeeping B license or above).
