The Opportunity
Join a well known and highly regarded international organisation within the manufacturing industry. Due to a recent promotion, an exciting opportunity has emerged within their procurement function for a Procurement Specialist, who will play a pivotal role in strategically sourcing high-quality and cost-efficient supplies, whilst building collaborative relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Developing and executing best practice procurement strategies for a diverse range of goods and services in the manufacturing space
Managing end-to-end procurement processes
Supporting supplier onboarding and due diligence processes
Monitoring and managing supplier performance within your portfolio
Negotiating contract terms with existing suppliers
Analysing existing procedures and supporting the implementation of process improvements
Ad hoc procurement and RFQ assistance across other business units
Selection Criteria
End-to-end procurement experience within a technical field
Proven ability to successfully negotiate, establish, and administer contracts
Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, systems, ERP and Excel
